Es una nomenclatura provisional para nombrar textos descolocados, que ponen en duda su propia sintaxis o materialidad, que tienen algo movido o fuera de lugar. Muchas veces se les considera raros (a ojos de la tradición) porque nunca pertenecen del todo a los géneros literarios establecidos. En general son escrituras que se cuestionan a sí mismas, que proponen la lectura como un acto creativo o que ponen al lenguaje verbal (visual u otro) en los límites. En este taller analizaremos los tejidos detrás de este tipo de ensayos y cómo se entrelazan sus hilos. Revisaremos, discutiremos y leeremos algunos ejemplos; haremos ejercicios breves y pensaremos colectivamente en las propuestas que cada une de les participantes quiera presentar.
El taller está divido en cuatro ámbitos: qué es el ensayo-artefacto, materiales, intersecciones y espacio-tiempo.
A provisional nomenclature for naming incongruous texts that cast doubt their own syntax or materiality, that have a certain fuzzy or out-of-place quality. They are often (in traditional terms) thought to be strange because they never completely belong in any established literary genre. In the main, they are forms of writing that question themselves, that posit reading as a creative act or carry verbal (visual or any other) language to its limits. In this workshop, we’ll analyze the underlying structures of this type of essay and the ways in which its strands are woven. We will review, discuss, and read a number of examples; do short exercises and think collectively about each of the participants’ proposals.
The workshop is divided into four areas: the essay-artifact, materials, intersections, and space-time.
